Líneas Aéreas del Estado Unaccompanied Minors Policy
Líneas Aéreas del Estado (LADE) Unaccompanied Minors Policy guidelines are as below:
Age Restrictions
LADE typically allows children aged 5 to 12 years to travel as unaccompanied
minors. Children under 5 years of age are not allowed to travel without an
accompanying adult.
Service Requirements
The unaccompanied minor service must be requested at the time of booking.
Parents or guardians should inform LADE about the minor traveling alone and
complete any necessary forms or documentation required by the airline.
Check-in Procedures
Parents or guardians must accompany the unaccompanied minor to the airport and
stay until the flight departs. They will need to check the minor in at the LADE
check-in counter, where the necessary identification and contact details will be
verified.
Supervision During the Journey
LADE staff will supervise the unaccompanied minor throughout their journey,
including during check-in, boarding, the flight, and upon arrival. The minor
will be escorted by airline staff at all times to ensure their safety.
Arrival
The person designated to receive the unaccompanied minor at the destination must
provide valid identification and sign a release form before the minor is handed
over.
Additional Fees
A service fee may be charged for the unaccompanied minor service. The exact
amount can vary depending on the route and other factors, so it's recommended to
check with LADE for specific details.
These policies may differ, however, so you should check with LADE for a description of its rules and services and any additional
charges that may apply.
